It is worth noting that the hotel is located in the tea field next to the path, and there are four courtyards in total, each of which is surrounded by towering ancient trees. Some of the best service that I have received in China! I highly recommend this hotel. I was made to feel welcome as soon as I arrived by Samuel at the front desk. All staff have been trained impeccably. Even the house keeper said 'Sorry to disturb you' in the most beautiful English. As a member of the Marriott group, I usually stay in their hotels, but I have to say, these are the best trained staff that I have experienced in China. Adam, the food and beverage manager walked me through the hotel and was incredibly accommodating. The room was beautiful, the facilities are excellent and you can't fault the location if you are looking for tranquillity amongst the hill of Hangzhou. I will be recommending to all my friends.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were flawlessly polite and helpful, and the majority spoke English well. We were given a free upgrade upon arrival, and the room was spectacular.
